What is an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)?

EAPs give your members 24/7 confidential access to mental health counsellors via phone video or chat. They should also include digital prevention programmes in multiple languages.

 Who is an Employee Assistance Programme for? 

EAP’s are often incorporated in Health, Disability and Life policies (group and retail) as :

  • Value-add services
  • Alongside Out Patient mental health benefits to mitigate claims
  • Supplementary to policies without mental health benefits to increase coverage

What to look for in an EAP provider
